Due to the pandemic, one of the U.S’s most cherished holidays, Halloween, won’t be able to be celebrated to the full extent this year. This means no trick or treating and a limited amount of the usual Halloween contests and activities.
Luckily, Nassau County is avidly working around this. According to County Executive, Laura Curran, some festivities will continue. Such as the annual Nassau Barkfest, a Halloween costume contest for canines, which will be held virtually this year.
So, if you want to win the grand prize of $150, submit a photo of your pet by October 31st to the Nassau county official website. Voting will last until November 5th!
