Netflix Scares You with “Stranger Things”
October 5, 2016
What’s so strange about this new Netflix 2016 TV series that seems to be shocking all critics? This supernatural science fiction horror drama “Stranger Things” set in the 1980’s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, is all about a young boy who disappears and a telekinetic girl (goes by the name Eleven) who helps his friends (Dustin, Lucas and Mike) in the search.
Noah Schnapp plays Will, the boy who vanishes. His family and the town police chief have an entirely different investigation going on. Government experiments and secrets will be released, how will the town handle it? The drama was created by the Duffer brothers. The brother duo started filmmaking in the third grade carrying on years later to lead them to Champman University. After doing some short films the brothers decided pitching ideas for a new TV series.
I began watching “Stranger Things” a couple of weeks ago and was confused at first. Once you figure things out it’s exhilarating and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. You have to binge watch the entire first season.
Season 2 will be released in 2017.
