Taylor Swift dropped her sixth album, Reputation, on November 10. Teenage girls grabbed their headphones to listen to it on repeat. Without any surprise, her new album has been No. 1 on the charts but critics wonder how long it is going to stay there. Though this album is much darker than the others, her fans’ reaction could not be better.

The first song that came out was “Look What You Made Me Do” in August. In this song Taylor sings “I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead!” This is when Taylor officially announced that things were going to change and it made fans become concerned.

Though the song wasn’t what her fans were expecting, the fans love Taylor’s new and improved image.

While watching Taylor Swift’s new music videos for her album, anyone can notice that there are snakes everywhere, even when she performs live. Whether she is wearing a snake ring or bracelet, it’s always on her. This is because Taylor Swift’s new symbol for her album is a snake, in response to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Ever since Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s award speech at the VMA’s in 2016, Taylor has wanted revenge. The best revenge for her was to let people know that she has changed and that she won’t be walked all over anymore. As a result, her new album came out and her fans fully support it.

The album has been such a hit that it sold 1.261 million copies in just the first week. Due to high demand, Taylor has announced a massive tour. The tour will start in Arizona on May 8, 2018 and end in Texas on October 6, 2018. There is also talk that there will be an international tour as well.
