In the US, the movie After was released on Friday April 12. The movie was based on the first book by Anna Todd, there are 3 books in the series.

The cast includes Hero Fiennes-Tiffin as Hardin one of the main love interests, Fiennes-Tiffin most recently was in the 2019 film Cleaning Up and also seen in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The spotlight was shared with Josephine Langford who played Tessa. Langfords name might sound familiar to you considering her sister, Katherine Langford, plays Hannah Baker in the netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.

At the end of the film some viewers cried and others were confused.  While others in the audience disliked the ending.

“It was really bad,” said Liv Corwin, a W.H.S. sophomore. Others like sophomore Grace Kane said, “It was the perfect way to end a perfect movie.”

Overall I thought the movie was very good and I look forward to hopefully an After  part 2!
