I didn’t think I would like this show as much as I did, but once I started it, I got addicted. It follows an extremely successful law attorney (Viola Davis) and her five interns, who are also her law students. This show finds a solid balance between murder mystery, legal drama, and college life. It doesn’t solely focus on the cases, but weaves the characters’ personal lives and relationships into courtroom plotlines. Filled with plot-twists, cliffhangers, lovable characters, and a theme that the world is not black and white, I give How to Get Away with Murder 5 out of 5 stars.
