Nora’s Review #3: Parks and Recreation

Nora Toscano, Entertainment Editor

The superior top of the Dan Schur pyramid of workplace sitcoms (which also includes The Office, Brooklyn 99, and The Good Place– all of which I recommend), Parks and Recreation follows the employees of the Parks and Recreation department of quirky Pawnee, Indiana, a small town full of eccentric, sometimes daft citizens. Starring SNL alum Amy Poehler and aggressive, stoic Nick Offerman, this seven-season comedy consistently keeps you laughing while also extremely invested in the characters’ personal lives. What makes this show so binge-worthy is watching a group of people go from co-workers to close friends to family (literally and figuratively) while balancing political and relationship drama. This comedy undeniably earns 5/5 stars.
