This year’s Senior Variety Show was very successful. There were multiple acts that varied from singing, to gameshows, to comedy acts. To start off the show, John Gendels and Tucker Iacobazzi sang “Call me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Following them was Robert Corry who rapped; Anthony Marullo who did stand up comedy; and a game show that starred the principal and vice principal. This game show was hosted by Elizabeth Kirchner and was interactive with the crowd. In the game show, the principals faced off against students in trivia questions with the loser getting sprayed with silly string. Senior Sabrina Albano performed an original piece with Mr. Hampson who played his guitar. In addition, Carpool Karaoke and Wantagh High School Mean Tweets were shown to the audience. Carpool Karaoke starred multiple students and teachers: Mr. Hunter, Mr. Shapiro, and Mr. Benito. The band, The Can’t Helps (Avery Bogacki, Ava Padula, Lorenzo Hilliard, and Sofia Hilliard) performed songs that included artists like Chappell Roan. To conclude the show, The Leakey Cauldron band played multiple hit songs for the audience. The band includes Mike Colaianni, Logan Schroh, Jonathan Glasser, Ben Wojick, Aditya Pasricha, Michael Avitabile, Gabriel Avitabile, and Max Naglieri. The band got everyone off their feet and was a perfect way to conclude the show.
The event was run by Ms. Stuart and senior class advisor Mrs. Gordon. We thank them for their hard work and dedication to organizing the Senior Variety Show and ensuring that the show was a hit!
