What You Benefit From Drinking Coffee

What You Benefit From Drinking Coffee

Drinking coffee has become very popular among high school teens in our generation. When I was younger I thought only adults drank coffee, but research has been done and coffee is not harmful to kids. With the 3 Dunkin Donuts locations near the school, a lot of students will make coffee stops in the morning or during their lunch period. Whether you just like the taste or you’re tired and need some energy, coffee is always a quick and easy way to get you through your day.
In general, many people say coffee lifts their moods and even treats headaches. I agree, and I am a big coffee drinker. A lot of people, mostly adults, need coffee to get through their day. Some people aren’t for the whole coffee drinking thing, maybe because caffeine isn’t that good for you, or it makes your teeth yellow and both of those statements are true, but the way that most people drink coffee, isn’t even that bad for you. What many people probably don’t know is that coffee has its own health benefits. So if you thought that drinking coffee every morning wasn’t helping your health at all, you’re wrong.
Research shows coffee is more healthful than it is harmful. It even puts people at lower risk for certain diseases, such as diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and colon cancer. The more coffee you drink the less risk you are at for the diseases. Over 19,000 tests have been done that examine coffee’s impact to a person’s health and they have had very good results. Coffee even offsets other damage that’s already been done to your body, like heavy drinkers and heavy smokers who drink coffee on a regular basis have less heart disease and liver damage done compared to those who don’t drink coffee. Other evidence that hasn’t been fully researched yet is that coffee helps manage asthma, stop headaches, and prevent cavities too.
If you were worried what drinking coffee everyday was doing to you, you don’t have much to be worried about. Keep your servings of coffee reasonable and don’t overload on sugar because if you drink too much in one day your body can’t handle it which could lead to hand trembling, nervousness, and rapid heartbeat. But don’t feel guilty for drinking coffee, it’s filled with good antioxidants and even helps you focus better.
