A Warriors Guide to Celebrating Fall

Autumn is here and there are so many more things to love than just falling leaves and cooler temperatures. Let’s start with one of everyone’s favorite spots to visit, Starbucks, where you can enjoy seasonal drinks such as Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and snack on the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. One of my favorite things to do while drinking my Pumpkin Spice Latte is watching my favorite fall show, Gilmore Girls. The feelings of autumn are evident all throughout the setting of the beloved series, evokes the warm and cozy feel of friends and family during the fall. The fictional town in the series is especially known for its school community which is expressed greatly during the fall seasons. Similar to the school events in Gilmore Girls, Wantagh High School has many spirited events planned for the fall season. Homecoming is one of the first and most exciting events to kick off the school year. We are looking forward to seeing all of the amazing class floats that partake in the yearly homecoming parade. This year, the Seniors went with the theme of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Juniors with Scooby Doo, Sophomores with Toy Story, and Freshman with Cars! We cannot wait to see the floats in our annual Homecoming parade and which float will win. The fun doesn’t end there, coming up in November we have our fall production ¨Peter And The Starcatcher¨ which is a prequel to Peter Pan. The Wantagh Theatre Department cannot wait to show off all their hard work and dedication to the show, and Wantagh is so excited to sit back and watch the magic happen on stage. Fall has just begun so get ready to celebrate!
