On Sunday, March 17, Wantagh held its fourth annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Thousands gathered to watch the parade which ran from Wantagh High School to the Wantagh Train Station. The parade included veterans, fire trucks, bagpipe players, the Wantagh High School Marching Band, and much much more. As one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades on Long island, Wantagh proudly celebrated their Irish heritage. The parade ran from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and encouraged people to look out for stores and restaurants in town. Adults, teens, and children of all ages can say this event was a success and will return next year for another great parade.
