Most Wantagh citizens are of average height, and (for the most part) have the same characteristics. But what about the world’s extremes? Are there really Nepalese people who are under 2 feet tall? According to the “Guinness Book of World Records”, there are a lot of characteristics of these humans that are very interesting. If anyone came to Wantagh with these features, they would be asked a lot of questions. Here is a list of world records from the “Guinness Book of World Records.”

Longest nose on a human: The Longest nose on a living person measures 8.8 cm (3.46 in) long from the bridge to the tip and belongs to Mehmet Ozyurek (Turkey).

Most piercings on a human: Since first receiving a skin piercing in January 1997, Elaine Davidson (Brazil/UK) has been pierced a total of 4,225 times as of 8 June 2006.

Smallest waist on living person: The smallest waist belongs to Cathie Jung (USA, b. 1937), who stands at 1.72 m (5 ft 8 in) and has a corseted waist measuring 38.1 cm (15 in). Un-corseted, it measures 53.34 cm (21 in).

Tallest man: The tallest man living is Sultan Kösen (Turkey, b.10 December 1982) who measured 251 cm (8 ft 3 in) in Ankara, Turkey, on 08 February 2011.

Widest Mouth: The widest mouth measures 17 cm (6.69 in) and belongs to Francisco Domingo Joaquim “Chiquinho” (Angola). It was measured on the set of ‘Lo Show dei Record’ in Rome, Italy, on 18 March 2010.

Shortest Woman: The shortest woman living is Jyoti Amge (India, born 16 Dec 1993), who measured 62.8 cm (24.7 in) in Nagpur, India, on 16 December 2011.

Shortest Man: The shortest living man is Chandra Bahadur Dangi
(Nepal) who measures 54.6 cm (21.5 in) tall as verified at CIWEC Clinic Travel Medicine Center in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, Nepal on 26 February 2012.

Heaviest weight lifted by tongue: The greatest weight lifted with a human tongue is 12.5 kg (27 lb 8.96 oz) by Thomas Blackthorne (UK) who lifted the weight hooked through his tongue on the set of El Show Olímpico, in Mexico City, Mexico, on 1 August 2008.

Longest fingernails woman: The longest fingernails belonged to Lee Redmond (USA), who started to grow them in 1979 and carefully manicured them to reach a total length of 8.65 m (28 ft 4.5 in) as measured on the set of Lo show dei record in Madrid, Spain, on 23 February 2008. Lee lost her nails in an automobile accident in early 2009.

Longest fingernails male: The longest fingernails on a pair of male hands belonged to Melvin Boothe (USA) whose nails had a combined length of 9.85 m (32 ft 3.8 in), when measured in Troy, Michigan, USA on 30 May 2009. Unfortunately, Melvin passed away in December 2009.

The greatest fully authenticated age to which any human has ever lived is 122 years 164 days by Jeanne Louise Calment (France). Born on 21 February 1875 to Nicolas (1837 – 1931) and Marguerite (neé Gilles 1838 – 1924), Jeanne died at a nursing home in Arles, southern France on 4 August 1997.
