After two years of free lunch in the wake of COVID-19, Wantagh High School is back to normal. During our period of free lunch, the cafeteria was packed and buzzing. However, this year the lines are shorter and there is significantly less business. The writers at The Warrior were curious as to how many members of our student body were likely to eat food from the cafeteria now that they have to pay for it. Out of 191 students polled, only 40 students said yes, they would buy school lunch this year. This means that 151 Wantagh High School students are unwilling to spend money on cafeteria food.
