Leading up to Wantagh High School’s homecoming game on September 27th, was the exciting pep rally on September 26th! Everyone was thrilled and enthusiastic for the event. The school came together to support student athletes and the Wantagh High School marching band in hopes for a great season. Homecoming king and queen contestants, Ryan Martone, Lana Lee, Calaya Encarnacion, and Sophia Aufiero, were announced in the gym during the rally. The 2025 winning showcase was done by the freshman, with their showcase displaying a spring theme! The seniors followed in 2nd with a summer theme, along with the sophomores in 3rd with a Christmas theme, and last but not least, the juniors with a fall theme! The Wantagh High School dance team performed to the Wantagh High School marching band led by Mr Cockren, and the conductors Madison Rodriguez, Sean Tinoco, and Olivia Scherer, to show school spirit and get students and staff hyped for the upcoming homecoming game, along with the Wantagh High School varsity cheerleaders doing an outstanding performance! The class presidents, Danny Donahue and Nina Myers announced these events and exciting moments for all of Wantagh High School to see and celebrate!
