The Wantagh boys’ varsity and J.V. bowling teams are led by Coach Polo. Mr. Polo started coaching bowling in 2004, with no experience at all. He led last year’s team to a conference championship and was 7th overall in the county.

Mr. Polo has the same expectations for this year’s team. The team’s captains are seniors Ryan Fiorillo and Jonathan Biscardi. Fiorillo also known as Mr. 300 made it to states two years in a row competing on the New York all-star team in Syracuse. Biscardi is the last of the four Biscardi brothers to be on the team. Other players include juniors Nick Disilva and Brendan Langenfeld. The team practices at Wantagh Lanes and has a meet every Monday and Thursday at Levittown South Lanes. This year the bowling team’s biggest competitors are Plainedge, Island Trees High school, and Bellmore/Merrick.
