The girls’ varsity bowling team, coached by Mr. Reh, is having an amazing season thus far. The Warriors are currently undefeated, 6-0, in Nassau Conference 7.

The team’s key players include Seniors Valerie Chin, Michelle Nuszer and Sophomore Alyssa Augello. Chin is ranked third in the county with a 198.6 average. Augello has the second highest average on the team with a 188.6 followed by Nuszer with a 171.2 average. Nuszer has the highest single game score with a 276 in the match against MacArthur. Natalie Bloniarz and Amanda Annunziata are also key contributors on the team.

The team is currently ranked second in Nassau County out of 40 teams and will represent Wantagh in the county tournament on January 31.

“The team is staying focused on our goal which is to win the county tournament and continue on to the state tournament,” says Coach Reh.
