With the winter sports season coming to an end, girls basketball finishes their regular season with an incredible turnout. With an outstanding season record of 18-2 the girls showed their mental and physical toughness. With the idea of going all the way, senior captains Juliana Cerasi and Riley Forthofer reveal their feelings on their season. Forthofer says she is “so happy with how much we’ve accomplished this season, I just can’t wait to see what the playoffs bring.” Cerasi also exerts similar ideas when she says, “we’ve built so much chemistry and it’s really shown on and off the court, I am really happy with the outcome of the regular season and believe we can go really far.” With these captains pushing these ideas in harmony it proves their phenomenal leadership, and the team definitely has the record to prove it.

This team’s determination and high hopes have helped them push through the toughest battles on the court, and make it their season. We wish seniors Cerasi, Forthofer and Gianna Paccione our best wishes for their last ride! As we send this team off to playoffs we wish them the best of luck at representing Wantagh at what they do best. Go Warriors!
