Journalism has been a big part of my high school career. While I was unfortunately unable to take the class during my sophomore and junior years, I was able to take it during my freshman and senior years. I began and ended my high school experience with journalism. 

Even when not taking the class, Ms. Flynn encouraged me to get involved, challenge myself, and write articles about my passions. This activity has provided me with an incredible outlet for my writing and creativity. Through this class, I’ve had an opportunity to express myself, improve specialized writing skills, and get involved with my community. It’s been a fantastic part of my academic journey and my life. I will miss it and I hope to get involved with my campus newspaper next year in some way. Thank you to the Warrior Newspaper, my fellow writers, and especially Ms. Flynn.
